CRE Intel Labs builds intelligence tools for commercial real estate professionals. This policy explains, in plain terms, what information our products collect, how we use it, and the control you keep over it.
The short version: the deal and comp data you put into our products is yours. We use it to run the product for you and your team, we don't sell it, and we don't share your proprietary records with other customers.
01 Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the CRE Intel Labs marketing website (creintellabs.com) and to our products, including CRE Intelligence, when you access them under an account we've provisioned. "You" means the account holder and any teammates you invite. "We" and "us" mean CRE Intel Labs.
02 What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, work email, and the organization you belong to, so we can create and secure your login.
- Early-access requests — the email address you submit on our website when you ask for access.
- The data you enter — the listings, comps, contacts, documents, and notes you and your team add to the product. We call this your deal data, and it's covered specifically in section 4.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage and device data — basic technical information such as browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, used to keep the service reliable and secure.
- Cookies — we use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and the product working. We don't use advertising trackers.
03 How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the product for you and your team.
- Process the documents and data you submit — including extracting details from offering memoranda and rent rolls at your request.
- Respond to early-access requests and support questions.
- Improve reliability and fix problems, using aggregated or technical data.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your deal data to advertise to you.
04 Your deal data stays yours
The listings, comps, contacts, documents, and analysis you build inside CRE Intelligence are your proprietary business records. Our role is to store and process them so you can use them — not to claim them.
- Your deal data is visible to you and the teammates you share an account with — not to other customers.
- We don't pool your comps into a shared database sold to others. Your proprietary record is yours.
- You can export or request deletion of your data as described in sections 7 and 9.
05 AI processing of your documents
When you upload a document — a brochure, offering memorandum, rent roll, or portfolio package — and ask the product to read it, the file's contents are sent to a third-party AI provider solely to extract the details you asked for (addresses, sizes, rates, tenant information, and similar fields). The extracted results are returned to you for review.
- This processing happens only when you initiate an extraction.
- We use reputable AI providers under agreements that restrict use of your content to providing the service.
- Extracted results are yours to review, edit, or discard before they're saved.
06 Who we share information with
We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers — infrastructure, database, storage, and AI providers who process data on our behalf to run the product, under confidentiality obligations.
- Your own team — teammates on your account, according to the access you set up.
- Legal requirements — when we're required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.
- Business transfers — if the company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
07 How long we keep it
We keep your account and deal data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to provide the service. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove it within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain certain records by law.
08 How we protect it
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable hosting infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit access to those who need it to run the service.
09 Your choices and rights
You can:
- Access and update your account information from within the product.
- Request a copy of your deal data, or ask us to delete it.
- Ask questions about how your information is handled.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details in section 11.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the product after an update means you accept the revised policy.
